What Tarsier Alpha Actually Is

Tarsier Alpha is not just a nightly scanner. It is a connected options-intelligence system with multiple layers working together: scanner, paper-trade proof, adaptive learning, orchestrator posture, and agent-facing APIs.

Scanner

Scans a large-cap U.S. universe and surfaces the strongest long and short setups across seven strategy lanes, including momentum-breakout leaders.

Paper Trades

Auto-tests qualified setups against live market conditions. Wins and losses both stay fully visible.

Learning Engine

Reads closed paper trades and adjusts score floors, strategy weights, and position sizing rules.

Orchestrator

Acts as the strategic brain layer — summarizing posture and coordinating the system's current stance.

x402 + Agent API

Exposes curated data and adaptive edge to external agents via pay-per-call or key-based access.

Live Strategy Lanes

The stock engine currently runs four long CALL lanes and three short PUT lanes. These are not marketing labels. They are the actual setup families the scanner scores, ranks, and tracks through paper trades.

Long (CALL)
  • Gap Fill — unfilled gaps with technical confirmation
  • Oversold Bounce — quality large-caps with extreme downside stretch
  • Catalyst — beaten-down names with a reason to mean-revert
  • Momentum Breakout — large-cap leaders near highs with continuation strength
Short (PUT)
  • Gap Fill Short — overextended names likely to fade into open space
  • Overbought Short — stretched momentum with bearish reversal context
  • Catalyst Short — negative-news / weak-structure short setups
Polymarket Intelligence BETA

Tarsier Alpha is expanding beyond equities, but not by chasing every prediction market. The Polymarket integration now focuses first on weekly stock-close markets, using the existing Tarsier scanner and regime stack as the directional moat and the Polymarket layer as paper-testing and execution infrastructure.

Prediction markets run 24/7, react instantly to news, and price crowd-sourced probability in real time. The current beta is intentionally narrowing toward markets where Tarsier Alpha has a repeatable edge instead of treating every popular market as tradeable. View the Polymarket dashboard →

How The System Works

  1. The scanner ranks qualified options setups across four long lanes, three short lanes, and a watchlist tier for developing names.
  2. The paper-trade engine simulates entries and exits so the platform can prove or disprove its own edge.
  3. The learning engine studies those outcomes and updates live thresholds, strategy weights, and sizing rules.
  4. The orchestrator reads market regime, portfolio state, active trades, and learned config to produce the current operating brief.
  5. The web app, internal dashboards, and external APIs all consume that evolving intelligence layer.

Built For Retail Traders

Tarsier Alpha is designed around retail constraints, not institutional fantasy assumptions. The platform is built to surface understandable options setups, preserve the original discovery context, and show its own proof and misses instead of pretending every day is perfect.

How To Use It Properly

  1. Use the Dashboard to review the highest-conviction candidates and watchlist names surfaced by the current adaptive system.
  2. Open candidate detail pages and confirm the entry zone, setup type, option premium, and invalidation logic.
  3. Check Paper Trades to see whether the strategy is currently proving itself or slipping.
  4. Treat the platform as decision intelligence, not a promise. Real-money execution and discipline still belong to the trader.
  5. If you operate the system internally, use the Learning Engine, Agency, and Logs pages as the control room.

What It Does Not Do

Tarsier Alpha does not currently place live broker trades for end users. It scans, simulates, learns, explains, logs its own operating state, and distributes intelligence. The system is becoming more autonomous in how it adapts, but live account execution is still a separate step.

Agent & API Access

Tarsier Alpha exposes a machine-readable API for developers and autonomous agents. The free discovery layer points machines to the right surfaces, and x402 enables pay-per-call access to curated options intelligence, watchlists, paper trades, and platform snapshots.
